The Maidstone http://www,themaidstoneartcentre.co.uk Art Centre was created to provide an inclusive centre of art for local community.
Led by Saffiere, but with lots of visiting and guest artists, classes are available for both children and adults and are held daily, including our after school art club.
We are a registered community interest company and not for profit business run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff and charge nominal fees to attend our Classes and it is our sincere belief that art can bring out the very best in both children and adults and unite communities. We have a vision to make art and creativity a staple part of our community.
A place, where you can express yourself in your own unique way and a place where we make new friends and gain new interests.
Come and discover your hidden creative side. Our sessions are relaxed, friendly and you can use any medium you wish, we supply the materials, tuition if you want it, but equally, you can be free to be as creative as you wish without pressure.
Not only do we offer the chance to learn new skills, but we hope that people will gain friends and support and a new interest to bring joy to lives.
We offer inclusive art sessions to all members of the community, from those living with dementia and their care givers, to neuro divergent children and adults and everyone in between
